Search rankings and AI recommendations, including Google and ChatGPT, are determined by their own algorithms and cannot be guaranteed or controlled by MyRepublic Digital. MyRepublic Digital applies commercially reasonable, industry-recognised practices consistent with generally accepted SEO and AEO standards at the time the Services are provided, across SEO, AEO, technical optimisation and content strategy. Because search engines and AI platforms are independently controlled, no specific ranking, recommendation or commercial outcome can be guaranteed.
No guarantee of rankings or AI recommendations
Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and every other search or AI answer system decide what to rank, show and recommend using their own algorithms, models and policies. Those systems change frequently and without notice. MyRepublic Digital does not own, influence or control them, and therefore cannot promise a first page position, a specific keyword ranking, a map pack placement, a featured snippet, a citation in an AI answer, or any particular level of traffic, leads, enquiries or revenue.
No guarantee of business outcomes
MyRepublic Digital does not guarantee increases in rankings, traffic, enquiries, leads, sales, conversions, revenue or return on investment, nor that any optimisation work will result in inclusion, retention or prominence within search engines, AI generated responses or third-party platforms. SEO and AEO are influenced by numerous external factors outside MyRepublic Digital's control, and outcomes vary between businesses.
Future algorithm and platform changes
Algorithms, ranking systems, AI models and platform policies may change at any time without notice. Such changes may improve, reduce or remove visibility regardless of previous performance.
AI accuracy and AI recommendations
AI generated responses are probabilistic in nature and may contain inaccuracies, omit businesses, produce inconsistent results or vary between users, locations, devices and time. MyRepublic Digital cannot guarantee that any AI platform will reference, cite or recommend a Customer's business.
Third party platforms
MyRepublic Digital is not responsible for outages, API changes, restrictions, suspensions or policy updates made by Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta or any other third party platform that may affect search visibility, AI recommendations or website performance.
Customer responsibilities
Successful SEO and AEO require timely customer participation. Delays in providing approvals, content, access, branding assets, product information or technical credentials may delay implementation and affect results. MyRepublic Digital is not responsible for outcomes impacted by incomplete, inaccurate or delayed information supplied by the customer.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all supplied content, claims, pricing, business information and legal statements are accurate before publication.
What MyRepublic Digital does commit to
Every engagement applies current, ethical, industry recognised practices. No manipulative or black hat tactics are used, because they put a website at risk of penalties and removal.
MyRepublic Digital will not engage in deceptive, manipulative or search engine policy violating practices. If a Customer requests activities that may breach search engine guidelines, MyRepublic Digital may decline the request or terminate the engagement.
Technical SEO
Clean site structure, crawlability, indexable pages, sitemaps, canonical tags, structured data and Core Web Vitals performance work.
AEO and AI visibility
Answer-led content, schema markup, entity clarity and machine readable pages. The objective is to improve the likelihood that AI-enabled search systems can accurately understand and reference the Customer's business where supported by the relevant platform.
Content strategy
Keyword and question research, service and location pages, and ongoing content aligned to how real customers search.
Ongoing optimisation
Monitoring, reporting and iteration as search engines and AI systems change how they rank and recommend.
How results and examples are presented
Any results, statistics, screenshots, case studies or testimonials shown on MyRepublic Digital websites and proposals reflect outcomes achieved with previous customers, in their market, with their budget, website, competition and timeframe. They are illustrative examples, not a prediction or promise of the results any other business will achieve. Individual outcomes vary.
Any screenshots or AI conversations shown are examples captured at a specific point in time. Rankings, recommendations and AI generated responses may change without notice and should not be interpreted as an ongoing guarantee.
Factors outside MyRepublic Digital's control
- Search engine and AI model algorithm updates, index changes and policy changes.
- Competitor activity, market conditions and seasonal demand.
- Customer decisions on scope, budget, content approvals and turnaround times.
- Changes made to the website, hosting, domain or content by the customer or a third party.
- Third party platforms, directories, review sites and social profiles the customer controls.
- Existing history of the domain, including prior penalties or low quality backlinks.
Timeframes
SEO and AEO are ongoing disciplines, not a one off task. Meaningful movement usually takes months rather than weeks, and AI answer systems may take additional time to reflect updated content. Any timeframe discussed is an estimate based on experience, not a contractual commitment.
Information only
SEO, AEO and digital marketing recommendations are provided for general business purposes and should not be interpreted as legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice. Customers remain responsible for making their own commercial decisions and obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
AI assisted content
MyRepublic Digital may use AI assisted tools to assist with research, drafting, optimisation and content creation. All deliverables are reviewed prior to publication. Customers remain responsible for approving all final content before it is published or implemented.
Customer approval
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all content, metadata, structured data, service pages and technical recommendations are deemed approved once accepted in writing, approved electronically, or published at the Customer's request or direction.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all SEO strategies, methodologies, audits, templates, workflows, prompt libraries and proprietary optimisation processes remain the intellectual property of MyRepublic Digital.
Confidentiality
Customer information, analytics and commercially sensitive information will not be published as case studies without prior written consent.
Third party access and dependencies
MyRepublic Digital is not responsible for delays or failures resulting from unavailable hosting providers, registrars, CMS platforms, API providers or customer owned systems where required access has not been granted.
Events beyond reasonable control
MyRepublic Digital is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including internet outages, cyber incidents, third party service failures, natural disasters or government actions.
Limitation of liability
Except where prohibited by law and subject to any non-excludable rights, MyRepublic Digital's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the SEO and AEO Services is limited to the total fees paid by the Customer for those specific Services under the applicable Statement of Work or Order during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. MyRepublic Digital is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, arising from search rankings, AI recommendations or website visibility.
Australian Consumer Law and statutory rights
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation, including equivalent consumer protection laws in New Zealand, Singapore and Indonesia. Where such rights apply and cannot be excluded, MyRepublic Digital's liability is limited to the extent permitted by that legislation.
Relationship to other terms
This disclaimer supplements the Web Design and Hosting Terms, the Supplier Agreement and the Terms of Use. Where a signed agreement covers the same subject, that agreement prevails.
This SEO and AEO Performance Disclaimer forms part of MyRepublic Digital's Terms of Use and is incorporated by reference into proposals, quotations, Statements of Work and service agreements that include SEO or AEO Services.
This disclaimer should be read together with the applicable Statement of Work, Master Services Agreement and Terms of Use.
